The visit journey
Eight synthetic steps illustrate the intended journey: discover, book, intake, device readiness, waiting, consultation, wrap-up, and after-visit review. Buttons advance only the local demonstration state.
A synthetic walkthrough of the planned virtual-visit experience. It demonstrates patient and provider layouts without reading or writing real patient, appointment, clinical, prescription, or media data. Secure clinical video visits are not enabled yet. Appointment preparation and device checks remain available from Appointment details.
Eight synthetic steps illustrate the intended journey: discover, book, intake, device readiness, waiting, consultation, wrap-up, and after-visit review. Buttons advance only the local demonstration state.
The walkthrough previews responsive patient and provider layouts. Names, chart content, captions, notes, chat, files, prescriptions, and summaries are synthetic examples, not clinical records or delivered services.
Secure clinical video visits are not enabled yet. Appointment preparation and device checks remain available from Appointment details. Join and Start are hidden while this versioned policy is disabled. Server-owned visit attempts, encounters, protected technical session status, and a two-role participant foundation provide future lifecycle safeguards, but the media provider remains disabled and returns no room or access credential. The foundations do not yet compose identity, location, consent, readiness, participant authority, verified presence, or media release into an approved clinical entry. A legacy or saved appointment deep link opens a safety notice and never loads synthetic data into a real context.
For a confirmed telemedicine appointment, Appointment details can persist an appointment-bound local camera, microphone, speaker, secure-context, supported-client, and API-reachability result. Patient and provider diagnostics remain private to each actor. Permission, selected-device, device-busy, offline, pause/resume, and network-change states have explicit blocked guidance and release temporary local media. The check does not exercise deployed signaling, STUN, TURN, or a clinical MediaProvider, so a local pass cannot enable Join or Start.
The consent controls, recording indicator, captions, and call controls shown here are illustrative only. They do not capture consent, record media, generate captions, or start a call. A separate audited consent-record foundation exists for future approved appointment flows, but it is not connected to this walkthrough and does not enable telemedicine, recording, transcripts, or AI processing.
Additional participant controls are not available yet. The current experience does not invite, admit, remove, or show guardians, caregivers, interpreters, chaperones, trainees, consultants, or support people. Join and Start actions also remain unavailable.
The wrap-up step previews medication entry and safety copy with in-memory example data. Completing it does not issue a prescription, update an appointment, create a patient record, or send anything to a pharmacy.
