What you can do here
Safe continuity actions
Start or Block active work, open the source Appointment, and Resolve ordinary work with an explicit confirmation. Existing work may continue after clinical completion without reopening the Encounter.
Protected Result review
Abnormal and critical Result tasks show priority and configured due evidence, but only exact clinician Result acknowledgement can Resolve them. Generic assignment, cancellation, source refresh, and resolution remain unavailable.
Truthful recovery
An interrupted mutation retains the exact idempotency key for safe retry. Refresh discards the pending attempt and reloads protected current truth.
Helpful habits
- Open the Appointment before acting when source context or patient follow-up is unclear.
- Use Block only while a required clinical source or decision is genuinely unavailable.
- Treat urgent and overdue labels as visible ownership evidence, not proof of an approved SLA or automated escalation.
