Live visitors
A real-time view of who is on your clinic's website right now. Visitors appear the moment they land on a tracked page, so you can see how many people are browsing, who looks ready to talk, and who has already chatted with you.
What you can do here
Visitor map
An interactive world map plots where your live visitors are, placed by city. Nearby visitors group into clusters, hovering shows their details, and clicking a dot opens that visitor. It updates in real time as people arrive and leave.
Visitor list
Each row is a visitor with their current page, source, location, device, local time, session details, and identity verification state when known. The device column shows a device-type icon with the visitor's browser and operating system; hover it for the full breakdown. Open a row for the complete environment and visit timeline.
Search, filter, and sort
Narrow the list to a date range, all time, the current week, last week, or the current month, based on each visitor's most recent activity. Search by name, source, location, or device to find someone fast, and click any column header to sort the list by it, ascending or descending.
Local time and time of day
Each row shows the visitor's local clock time, and the row is shaded by their time of day: lighter during their daytime, darker at night. It tells you at a glance whether someone is browsing over morning coffee or late at night.
Quick actions
Right-click any visitor (or two-finger click on a trackpad) for a menu of actions, grouped by purpose: open their details, locate them on the map, invite them to chat, and, for admins, ban or unban. Actions you do not have permission for are hidden.
Visitor panel: details and chat
Opening a visitor shows two tabs. Details has their profile, location, full device environment, browser viewport and orientation, touch and cookie capability, and an estimated connection summary when the browser provides it. It also shows the timeline and sessions. Chat is the live conversation with that visitor, the same conversation you see in Conversations, with the full history loaded, so you can reply without leaving the visitor list. Invite to chat opens this Chat tab.

Switch between Live (on the site now), Recent (the last 24 hours), and Chatting (visitors who have talked with you) with the tabs above the list.
Follow these steps
Engage a promising visitor
- Watch the high intent counter and the pages visitors are on.
- Open a visitor to review their session before reaching out.
- Start or continue the conversation from the Conversations inbox.
Helpful habits
- Reach out while the visitor is still on the site; response speed is the biggest driver of conversation rates.
- Check the current page column first: someone on your pricing or booking page usually wants help now.
Tips
- A check mark next to a visitor means their identity is verified.
- Data appears once the chat widget is installed on your website; see Live chat setup.
- A sound plays when a new visitor comes online; use the bell button above the list to turn it on or off.
- The sun or moon next to a visitor's local time, and the row shading, show whether it is day or night where they are.
- Right-click a visitor row for quick actions like invite to chat or admin tools.
- A visitor's status shows as a badge next to their name in the list.
- The device column shows each visitor's browser and operating system at a glance; open a visitor for the full environment, including device type and model, browser and OS versions, screen and viewport size, orientation, input capabilities, and estimated connection details when available.
- Connection details are browser estimates and some browsers do not provide them. A missing value does not mean the visitor is offline.
- Use the date range dropdown and search box above the list to narrow down to a specific period or visitor, and click any column header to sort the list by it.
- Click a dot on the map to open that visitor; the map and list always show the same people.
- Location is approximate, to city level, and based on the visitor's network. A visitor only appears on the map once their location is known.
