Team chat

Private rooms for your clinic staff. Coordinate handoffs, huddles, and internal questions without leaving the workspace; visitors never see these rooms.

01

What you can do here

Rooms

Each room is a private channel with its own members. Only members can see a room or read its messages; the room list shows the latest message and an unread marker.

Membership

Whoever creates a room owns it and manages its members. Owners add or remove teammates from the Members panel; anyone can leave a room themselves. Removed members immediately lose access to the conversation.

Archiving

Owners can archive a room when a project or rotation wraps up. Archived rooms keep their history but no longer accept new messages, and can be unarchived at any time.

Team calls

Voice and Video in the room header start a group call with the room's members: everyone gets an incoming-call alert with Join and Dismiss, a live call shows a Join banner above the thread, and up to 4 people can share video (6 on voice). Mute, camera, and Leave call are per person; the call ends when the last participant leaves.

02

Follow these steps

Start a room

  1. Select New room, name it after the team or topic, and pick the teammates who belong in it.
  2. Send the first message; members see the room appear in their list immediately.
  3. Open Members at any time to adjust who is in the room.
03

Helpful habits

  • Keep patient specifics in the patient's conversation or CRM record; team rooms are for coordination, not clinical documentation.
  • Name rooms by function (Front desk, Surgery team) so new staff instantly know where to ask.
  • Archive rooms that have gone quiet instead of deleting context your team may need later.
04

Tips

  • New messages arrive in real time; a room with unread activity shows a marker in the list.
  • Enter sends your message; Shift+Enter adds a line break.
  • Leaving a room removes it from your list; an owner can add you back later.
